Bill "Bob" Beach

September 28, 1941 ~ December 30, 2019 (age 78)


William E. Beach, Jr., 78, died Monday, December 30, 2019 at Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee, OK.

William was born September 28, 1941, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and was a lifelong resident of Muskogee. William was known by the name “Billy Bob”, given to him by the players on the softball team that he coached. The grandkids shortened it to “Bob”. He was a teacher at Muskogee Public Schools for over 30 years. He graduated from Muskogee Central High School and was active in the Future Farmers of America. He graduated college from Northeastern State University.

He is survived by his son, Kelly and daughter-in-law Diane Beach, children Cortny, Jordan and Carter; great grandchildren, Kendley and Kayden from Muskogee; daughter, Kasey and son-in-law Roger Littlefield, children, William, Alexis and Jacob of Tulsa; his sister, Pat and husband Olen Wofford from Muskogee; his brother, Don and wife Donna Beach from Muskogee; numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews; in addition to his loving close friend, Judy Bivin.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carole Ann Blackwell Beach; parents, William Gene and Ginger Beach; mother, Regina Brown Beach and father and mother in law, Ford and Ada Blackwell.

Pallbearers will be Carter Beach, William Littlefield, Jacob Littlefield, Devin Beach, Rick Wofford and Billy Strand.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the First Baptist Church Sanctuary in Muskogee. Immediately following the funeral, a committal service will be held at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
