Bradley Family Funeral Service offers several types of funeral services. A funeral service should be about the person whose life has ended, and meaningful to those who remain. Families and friends have the opportunity to come together to share a sense of loss, to offer support, and to remember and acknowledge the life of someone they love.

Services may be personalized in many ways. Families may choose to include special memorabilia, pictures, art objects, or hobby items. We welcome and respect your thoughts and ideas.

We listen carefully to the wishes of a family and from that conversation help fashion a service that is fitting and personal. The following service options are some of the many types of services available at Bradley Family Funeral Service.

Traditional Burial Ceremony
A traditional burial service is when your loved one is present. Generally visitation is held the day(s) and/or night before the funeral. The funeral service itself is held in our chapel, a church or a special place chosen by the family. The ceremony often consist of scriptures readings, prayers, a eulogy, sometimes a sermon and music. After the funeral, there is a procession to the cemetery for a committal service. The committal service is usually brief with just a couple of prayers before the burial or entombment takes place.

Traditional Cremation Ceremony
A traditional cremation service is similar to the burial service. There is visitation held before the funeral service. The funeral service is held in our chapel, a church or a special place chosen by the family. The ceremony often consist of scriptures readings, prayers, a eulogy, sometimes a sermon and music. After the ceremony, however the funeral concludes. The cremation itself is then done with the cremains usually available for the family the following day.

Memorial Ceremony
A memorial service is held when the deceased is not present. The ceremony may take place in our chapel, a church or a special place chosen by the family. This is a time to remember a loved one through fellowship with friends and family. Usually a private family burial or cremation has already taken place before the ceremony.

Graveside Ceremony
A graveside service is a ceremony that is held at the cemetery only. The ceremony itself is usually much more brief than that of a traditional funeral ceremony. The ceremony begins and ends at the cemetery.
